“Me? Absolutely not. I did not set our great city on fire! I’m not an arsonist. I’m a builder – not a destroyer. I take as much pride in Rome as you do. I’m as crushed as you are over the destruction of our city. I am devastated by the loss of your homes and all our religious shrines. Welcome to a new day. You probably have some routines you follow every day. Waking up is one of them. (The day you don’t wake up will cause quite a stir.) We’re creatures of habit. Either he must let the nut go - stop clinging to it or he is trapped and will no longer enjoy freedom. The monkey-hunter’s snare was successful.

It takes focus, effort, energy and a great amount of self-discipline. It requires sacrifices. You don’t win easily and without effort. In fact, if you want to train like an Olympian runner there are a few requirements:

1)     Daily Routines,

2)     Keep focused on the goal,

3)     Eat for top performance,

4)     Be specific in your training, and

5)     Know when to rest.

More than once, the Apostle Paul.........

Could it be any darker? The eyes strain to see the faintest of lights but to no avail. It is black darkness. You can’t tell whether your eyes are wide open or tightly closed – there’s no difference. There is no night-light plugged into the wall of your experience. You look towards the door hoping to see some light shining through the cracks, but you can’t.  Nothing. You’ve opened the window blinds and peered into the darkness but the twinkling stars aren’t shining and the moonbeams (stuff that poets write about) are nowhere to be seen. So much for poetry!
