(1) Six girls were modeling the True Religion Jeans and one of the captions in the ad said: irresistible indulgences: fashion. Another caption said: calling all denim divas: be the first to flaunt the season’s hottest new jeans. The retailer was: Henri Bendel on New York’s Fifth Avenue. True Religion Python jeans: $468.

Heather Tallchief, born in Buffalo, New York lived a largely unhappy life. She followed the punk rock scene and became a crack addict. Later she became a nursing assistant but holding on to jobs was difficult for her. When things couldn’t get much worse, a man 20 years older than her stepped into her life.
