Either our lives are so busy or there are so many distractions we find it difficult to listen for ten minutes – or even five. That’s from a listener’s perspective. But the other side of the equation is – the speaker can be so verbose, rambling and long-winded that we tune out.

If I was invited up to the mic to address a crowd in a stadium and I was given only three minutes – how would I use the time? If a family asked me to visit their loved one and, because of urgent circumstances, I was allowed only three minutes in their room, as a Christian, what would I want to tell them in those three precious minutes? One more scenario – if you were in a bad way and I was given three minutes alone with you – what would I tell you?
